Professional Background: Substitute Teacher and Police Officer for Miami Police Department. He worked in several specialized units, including: Robbery, Internal Security, Patrol Task Force and the Police Academy as an assistant Training Advisor. He achieved the rank of Sergeant, 1971-1980; Lieutenant, 1981-1984 and commanded the City of Miami’s first sub-station. After his retirement he was promoted to the rank of Captain of Police by Mayor Joe Carollo.
Organizations: He is a member of St. Agnes Episcopal Church and has served on numerous committees. Currently he is the treasurer of the Episcopal Men’s Group One.
